Getting Started

Set up Beru in a few minutes.

1. Invite the bot

Use the invite link and give it Administrator. Antinuke needs to read the audit log, manage channels, roles and webhooks, and ban or kick attackers.

2. Move its role to the top

Open Server Settings → Roles and drag the bot's role above every other role. Discord does not let a bot manage anyone with a higher role, so a low bot role means it cannot stop an attacker.

3. Turn on protection

  1. .antinuke enable — or .antinuke wizard for a guided setup.
  2. .antinuke logging #channel — where security alerts go.
  3. .antinuke whitelist @user — trusted bots or staff that may do big actions.
  4. .mainrole add @role — protect your main member role from getting dangerous permissions.
  5. .panicmode setup 3 2 30m true then .panicmode enable — automatic lockdown during an attack.
  6. .automod enable and .automod manage — choose filters and punishments.

4. Add your team

.extraowner add @user for co-owners and .trusted add @user for moderators. See Permissions & Hierarchy.

5. Everything else

Set up Tickets, Logging, Greetings and Verification. Type .help in Discord to browse modules from the dropdown.

Commands only work when typed exactly. <arg> means required, [arg] means optional. Users, roles and channels can be a mention, an ID or a name.
